What are the foundations of Psychology? Is it truly scientific, and if so, how does one go about ensuring the findings of any given area of study are valid? We'll take a look at the brief history of this new science, and establish parameters that should guide us in each and every study we examine through our journey this year. We will examine difficult questions that arise from pivotal studies that allowed for potential benefit, but perhaps at a high cost. Then, we will break down the components of a research study to help ensure the presence of ethical practices.
