How does Psychology quantify our cognitive processes? We will begin to explore how our mental processes--which are not directly observable--can be studied in a scientific manner. Can we compare the human brain to an information processor, such as a computer? If so, how reliable are the mechanics of this process? We will explore topics of memory as well as decision-making.
