LT: I can describe how the “Philosophes” of the Enlightenment period impacted the governments and the governed of Europe and beyond.
I can compare and contrast the thinking of different philosophers within the Enlightenment period.
HOW: 1. READ chapter 17, section 3—including the maps, primary sources, biographies, charts, and pictures you see. These help explain the text, bring better understanding to the text, and give clues on what the text might be telling us.
2. Complete the Chapter Assessment in your journal. (Page 568-569)
