This message is being sent on behalf of those students who are organizing fundraising efforts for the Nick of Time Foundation. The Nick of Time Foundation has arranged for 500 heart screenings for interested students ages 14-21 on February 5th at Meadowdale High School. Please lend a hand in helping these members of the Class of 2015 get the word out about this event and the fundraising that goes along with it.
Some members of the Junior class are organizing a class competition to raise money for the heart screening on February 5th. The competition will be between all third period classes and will start Wednesday, November 6 and end Wednesday, November 20. The three classes that raise the most money will win a pizza party on the date of their choice. Bins for collecting money will be passed out to all of the classrooms on Wednesday morning. Please promote this to your students as best as you can and try to get the class enthusiastic! Our goal is for each student to bring in two dollars to support the Nick of Time Foundation. Thank you so much for your support. We want to raise enough money to provide free screenings for as many students as possible. This way we hopefully will not suffer another tragedy like the loss of Matthew Truax.
